The Musical Folklore Archives <\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Musical Folklore Archives (MFA) of the Centre for Asia Minor Studies\u00a0<\/span>were<\/span>\u00a0founded in 1930 by musicologist and ethnographer\u00a0<\/span>Melpo<\/span>\u00a0Logothetis<\/span>–<\/span>Merlier<\/span>\u00a0(1890\u20131979). The\u00a0<\/span>MFA<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is<\/span>\u00a0the oldest research center dedicated to the study of traditional, Byzantine, and urban folk music in Greece and house<\/span>s<\/span> exceptionally valuable primary musicological material.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
